An Active Encounter

I was approached by the curator Ciara Hickey to produce a piece of print that promoted the series of events An Active Encounter around the exhibition  Czechoslovakia Radio 1968 by Hungarian actionist and conceptual artist Tamas St.Turba, in PS2 in Belfast in February and March 2014.

Working in tight budgets and timelines, I designed a simple identity to reflect the central theme of a brick, using the typeface National in the mark and Matrix in companion in the rest of the piece. It was folded from A3 to A6 and printed in mono on 120gsm Perfect Image.

I was also tasked with designing the vinyl text block to sit underneath the brick in the exhibition, ensuring a consistent identity across all collateral.
