Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain – CCA

The Centre for Contemporary Art in Derry/Londonderry approached me to create a publication responding to their exhibition Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain which addressed artists’ relationships with the natural world.

Two texts had been commissioned and were to be included in the publication, alongside documentation of the exhibition in CCA’s gallery.

I was given a relative freedom in conceptualising the publication and responding to my resources, using distorted text from the commissions and pushing the images to the limits of the digital photograph’s dynamic range and compression.

The publication was printed as a 12 page digital tabloid newspaper by The Newspaper Club.
